Johnson's Super-Z is a caustic type cleaner specially formulated to clean copper and brass radiators in ultrasonic cleaning units. This is a dry compound that is mixed with clean water to form a strong cleaning solution. It contains agents to suspend dirt and corrosion products in solution, thereby reducing sludge build-up on the ultrasonic transducers.
For best results, dissolve 8 to 10 ounces of the cleaning compound per gallon of clean water to make up the cleaning solution. Stir the water and slowly add the compound to avoid spattering.
For best cleaning action, heat the solution to 150-200°F.
DO NOT USE FOR CLEANING ALUMINUM.
