Magna Flux

Johnson's Magna-Flux is an economical blend of chlorides (these are often referred to as soldering salts) that cleans and fluxes metals fast. It may be used dry on heated metal, but is generally mixed with water to form a slurry, then brushed on the area to be soldered.

Note: Soldering salts attract moisture from the air; make sure the lid is kept tight to prevent moisture from turning these salts hard in the pail.
